“After I observed how our hallway redecorating project dragged on for over 18 months and came in over budget, I knew that we needed help on our next decorating project. So I signed up for the lobby/party room decorating committee. We agreed that we needed the help of a designer. Jaqi Green Interiors was a suggestion from one of our building owners who had used her services in years past. 

We went to view Jaqi's work, and liking what we saw, had her bid on our job. After interviewing and getting bids from 3 designers, Jaqi was selected as the best fit for us. Jaqi was able to coordinate with 4 committee members for meetings and product selection in person, by phone and by email. She made sure she had everything she needed to do the job before starting construction so our residents were disturbed as little as possible, and the work was done in large chunks allowing us to close down these spaces for limited time.

Jaqi had several challenges such as existing patterned carpet in party room, and existing tile in entry and hallways to consider in her selections. Jaqi was not afraid to suggest ways to re-use, update or re-purpose some of our existing furnishing when that made sense. She chose some bold patterns and colors bringing new life to our spaces.

Jaqi was able to find furnishings that gave us versatility and freedom to move in our smaller areas. Our job met some challenges with water in a closet area, Jaqi made recommendation to cut out the carpet and extend out the tile being used in kitchen, still able to keep our budget and timeline in tact.

It was very important for us to stay under budget and Jaqi made that happen. She kept us informed with a spread sheet detailing all costs. We are so glad that we chose Jaqi and are very satisfied with our new look.”
