This client wanted to bring as much of his art to his new home as he could. Moving from a building with 10’ ceilings into a standard 8’ and from six rooms into three, meant giving up a lot, including combining office and guest bedroom. Finding new smaller scale furnishings and laying out all the artwork in advance allowed us to figure out what to bring with and what to put in storage/sell. We found two furniture consignment shops to take large custom pieces to offset costs for new items and used a convertible daybed as sofa for guests (desk is out of view).
