Design Challenge: This jam-packed kitchen had nowhere near enough prep space or storage for this avid cook and gardener. The peninsula with its upper cabinets made the space cramped. The home required water filtration systems that meant additional faucets at the sink. Allergies and sensitivities from off gassing are a concern for all new materials.
Design Solution: Amish cabinetry built using only natural products addressed the allergies concern. Replacing peninsula with a large island created a ton of workspace. Lighting needed to blend with current art and décor so pulling in Tiffany-style fixtures was the perfect choice.
